Course I can't walk out the door without something happening ...

  I was inside all day Monday, writing, working on a posting for you here. Late in the day, I went to a meeting on a new bank in Aspen being created under the Colorado Foreign Capital Depository Act (more on that later) ..

  it was sooo beautiful outside last night in the mountains ... cool crisp still air ... warm   

i found a beautiful old jeep and plopped down on a railroad tie and leaned against the bumper

it was the bumper sticker that spoke to me   I miss my motorcycle  I never should have sold it to that jerk   he is legally bound to keep it Aspen for me to ride until i can buy it back  he didn't    he says 'sue me'  what's wrong with people?

  its a small town  the owner of the jeep came outside with his boxer dog Roxy

the dog started making some noise, going after something   I thought Roxy was chasing Milo the snow cat

but Roxy wasn't chasing Milo.  Roxy was chasing a BEAR walking 'round front of the jeep 

  the bear slipped into the yard between the two lights    the jeep owner and Roxy went inside

  bears run from people here   I was sittin' there thinking what it would feel like if that bear walked around the back of the jeep   eye level    and decided it was time to go inside
